The chicken: the dark meat was very juicy and surprisingly tender. Mac and cheese was the best I’ve ever had at a BBQ shack – extremely creamy and extra cheesy. The sweet potato pie was excellent. All this for a great price.
I grabbed a small table and my food was out in no time. Half Bird slathered in a tangy sauce. The collard greens were delicious, cooked with a bit of pork and the beans were home-made in the same tangy sauce. Two slices of white bread finished the meal along with some tasty pecan pie. I couldn’t finish it all!
